Here's an example of student colour comps from last year's KPI poster assignment. Note that all typographic elements are in position, including the Mohawk logo and credit line to the designer.
The top row is the comp - the bottom row is the final. This will give you some idea of my expectations for each.
In each case the comps were painted at a smaller size and on the surface or art board of the designer's choosing. The finals were painted much larger on gessoed illustration board.
